Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of UV Safe Tan for iPhone and iPad. Installing or using the app means you accept them. They sit alongside Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell the app, rent it out, reverse engineer it, or copy its content for use elsewhere.

Not medical advice

UV Safe Tan gives general sun safety information. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.

• UV readings come from weather forecasts and can differ from the UV you actually receive. Clouds, shade, altitude, reflection from water, sand or snow, and time spent in the sun all change your real exposure.
• Burn times and tan timers are estimates based on your chosen skin type and SPF. Everyone's skin reacts differently, and sunscreen protects less when too little is applied or it has rubbed or washed off.
• No tan is completely safe. Any UV exposure adds to long-term skin damage. Use the timers as an upper limit, not a target, and leave the sun as soon as your skin feels warm, tight or looks pink.
• If you have a skin condition, a history of skin cancer, or take medication that makes you sensitive to light, follow your doctor's advice over anything the app shows.

You are responsible for your own time in the sun. We are not liable for sunburn, skin damage or any other harm from relying on the app.

Subscription

• Using UV Safe Tan after onboarding requires UV Safe Tan Pro.
• UV Safe Tan Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. In the United States it is priced at $4.99 per week or $29.99 per year. Prices in other countries are set for that country and shown to you in your own currency before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Apple processes the payment. Your subscription status is checked through RevenueCat, our subscription service provider.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew in the Settings app under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions, or in UV Safe Tan under Settings, then Manage subscription.
• If you have an offer code, redeem it with Redeem Code on the subscription screen.
• Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it through Apple as described above.

Refunds

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue a refund on Apple's behalf, though you are always welcome to write to us first if something has gone wrong.

Restoring a purchase

If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen or in Settings. The subscription is tied to your Apple Account, not to the device.

Availability and changes

Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the app develops, and the weather services it relies on can be unavailable at times. We aim to keep the app working on currently supported versions of iOS and iPadOS, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of every fault.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows, including any warranty that UV readings or burn estimates are accurate. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data stored in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide support for it. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules.
